Myelomatosis and Acute Monocytic Leukaemia

A case of myelomatosis (IgGK) is reported, in which acute monocytic leukaemia of ‘Naegeli type’ developed after six years' treatment with melphalan. No such case could be traced retrospectively in the Malmo series of 123 cases of acute leukaemia in subjects above 15 or in 177 cases of myelomatosis diagnosed within the last 20 years.
