The normal lymphocyte transfer test (NLT) is an expression of thymic dependent immunity. 60 NLT were performed with 1.5 × 10 6 allogeneic human lymphocytes injected intracutaneously to 21 recipients. Each recipient received lymphocytes from 2–4 donors. Weak or completely negative reactions were found in some recipients aged eighty or more.
