A case of antiglobulin‐positive haemolytic anaemia developing in connection with Yersinia enterocolitica infection is reported. The patient responded favourably to prednisolone treatment. The case is discussed in the light of recent reports of Yersinia infections associated with various systemic reactions. So far haemolytic anaemia caused or initiated by Yersinia enterocolitica infection has not been described.
