A proteolytic enzyme preparation from the mould Aspergillus oryzae was found to influence markedly the aggregation of rabbit platelets. In low and high concentrations the enzyme inhibited aggregation induced by adenosine diphosphate, whereas in moderate concentrations it caused aggregation of the platelets.
