A patient with a typical cold agglutinin syndrome has been treated with chlorambucil. This treatment decreased the plasma γ 1M ‐globulins by 4 to 5 per cent of total protein, the plasma cold agglutinins to about one fourth, and reduced the thermal amplitude of the cold agglutinins by 3.0° C.
