An electron microscope investigation was performed on cutaneous biopsies from four patients with Darier's disease. Suprabasal lacunae with acantholytic cells were a prominent feature. Basal cells and acantholytic cells showed an increase in tonofilaments. Corps ronds appeared as vacuolated cells.
