Within DSM Chemicals BV, a producer of acrylonitrile, skin complaints arc frequent, the majority of these are an irritant nature, while a smaller portion is based on acquired allergies Allergological examination revealed 3 employees with an allergy In acrylonitrile. 1 of these subject also developed paresthesiae in the skin sues affected, a finding not previously described for acrylonitrile.
