In a platemaking procedure differing from Nyloprint and Letterflex, contact sensitizations to 2‐hydroxy‐ethyl‐methacrylate, di‐ and tetraethylene glycol dimethacrylate and nicotinic acid were found. Preoperational testing of the complete mixture gave a false impression of safely. Preventive measures and enumeration of acrylic substances so far recognized as sensitizers or cross‐sensitizers are discussed.
