. The amount of lipopolysaccharide (LPS) in the root surface‐associated material from individual periodontally‐involved teeth was found in the (surface material from all of the tee ranged from 19‐394 ng/tooth. No significant correlation was found between the associated with the tooth. However, a weak correlation( r =+ 0.0461, 0.05 > p > 0.01) was found between the amount of LPS and the % loss of attachment.
