In this paper, the theoretical concept of language consciousness is used as the angle and starting point to study the language variation under the bilingual phenomenon. First of all, this thesis introduces the Language Variation and analyzes the Canadian English and French in detail. This theory serves as the theoretical framework to facilitate the conversational analysis. Then, the writer selects some typical examples and analyzes them though the theory of Language Ideology. From this way, the readers can better understand Language Variation in Bilingualism and it clarifies the validity of taking pragmatic theory into text analysis.
