According to epidemiological studies, millions of people in the western capitalistic societies suffer from anxiety, depression and psychiatric disorders. The attempt to prevent these ways of reacting by special programs run by psychiatrists in the neighbourhood is an example of idealistic or wishful thinking. These programs always try to adapt under priviliged or lazy people to the existing bourgeois way of life. A political and economical revolution is necessary to change the stucture of society which is the salient cause of individual suffering. The psychiatrists are not specially qualified to change social systems.
