PREFACE

This investigation has been inspired by the long-lasting collaboration between Professor, Dr. Eduard Busch, University Clinic of Neurosurgery, Copenhagen, Denmark, and Dr. H. P. Stubbe Teglbjaxg, Department for Epileptics, the Filadelfia Colony, Dianalund, Denmark. Dr. Stubbe Teglbjzrg introduced me into clinical neurology, and especially into the clinic of the epilepsies. His helpful advice and his warm interest in my work has been of the greatest value for me. Professor Busch has been my inspiring teacher in the field of intracranial tumours; he allowed me access to the case records, and with much personal sacrifice he has given me the most excellent support during the preparation of this work.
