Summary A group of healthy subjects (IOP < 22 mmHg) and a simple ocular hypertension group (IOP≥22 mmHg) were examined with a view to checking if there were any differences between their nerve fibre layers. Results indicate thinner fibres in the ocular hypertensives significantly correlative with pressure increase. Among the two groups, some corresponding fibre thicknesses were found.
