Herein we report on the 4–300 K resistivity, magnetoresistance, H all and S eebeck coefficients and heat capacity of Cr 2 GeC . The results—analyzed within a two‐band model—confirm that Cr 2 GeC is a compensated conductor where the concentration of electrons and holes are almost equal; the same is true of the mobilities. The room‐temperature thermal conductivity is 22 W·(m·K) −1 ; roughly half the heat is carried by phonons, half by electrons. The heat capacity results confirm previous results.
