A novel series of single‐phase polycrystalline ceramics Sr 4− m La m Ti m −1 Ta 4− m O 12 ( m =1, 2, 3) were prepared through the solid‐state ceramic route. All of them adopt A 4 B 3 O 12 ‐type cation‐deficient hexagonal perovskite structure. The microwave dielectric properties can be tuned by controlling the composition or the value of m . As m increases, the dielectric constant (ɛ r ) of the ceramic increases from 30 to 40.1 and the quality factor ( Q × f ) enhances from 16 050 to 42 130 GHz, and the temperature coefficient of resonant frequency (τ f ) improves from −43 to −8 ppm/°C.
