The vapor phase method was used to prepare tin oxide (SnO 2 )‐functionalized multi‐walled carbon nanotubes (MWNTs). SnO 2 nanoparticles were uniformly decorated on the outer surface of MWNTs. At the same time, parts of the MWNTs can be filled with SnO 2 nanoparticles. This simple technique is of interest for a distinct reacting process and efficiency.
