A philasterine scuticociiiate 82‐133 μm in length and 29‐51 μm in width is described from the intestine of the solitary tunicate Ascidia ceratodes. It has 44 somatic kineties, an anterior dorsal bald spot, and a triangular scutico‐vestige which lies above recessed posterior oral polykinetids.
