SYNOPSIS.Eimeria kinsellai sp. n. is described from the marsh rice rat Oryzomys palustris from Florida. Its ellipsoidal oocysts were 23–31 by 15–19 μ (mean 26.7 by 16.9 μ). One to four polar granules were present but an oocyst residuum was absent. The sporocysts were 12–15 by 7–9 μ (mean 13.9 by 8.1 μ), and sporocyst residua were present.
