SYNOPSIS.Eimeria vilasi, E. wisconsinensis , and E. ovata n. sp. were found in the intestinal contents of eastern chipmunks Tamias striatus in Massachusetts. The oocysts of E. ovata are ovoid with mean dimensions of 26.1 × 16.7 μ. The outer oocyst wall is rough, with small pits. Micropyle and oocyst residuum are absent. Sporulation time at room temperature is 7–8 days.
