SYNOPSIS. Of 6 representative antibiotics only tetracycline inhibits this phytoflagellate. Whereas penicillin, neomycin, erythromycin and streptomycin exert no real influence on the organism, addition of chloramphenicol to the growth medium results in a marked increase in cell yields.
