SYNOPSIS. The oocysts, sporulation process, and endogenous stages of Eimeria raillieti (Léger, 1899) Galli‐Valerio, 1930 from the slow‐worm, Anguis fragilis , in England are described. The oocysts average 18 × 15 μ. Schizonts, microgametocytes and macrogametocytes were found in the ileum, and macro‐gametocytes alone in the duodenum.
