SYNOPSIS.Trypanosoma granulosae n. sp. was found in the salamander, Taricha granulosa twittyi , from Dutch Bill Creek, Sonoma County, California. This polymorphic trypanosome has an anterior nucleus containing a definite endosome. The kinetoplast is rod‐shaped and never contained within a vacuole. Myonemes are occasionally seen in slender individuals.
