In response to the challenges posited by E ileen P . A nderson‐ F ye and J erry F loersch in their article on college student mental health, a psychologist and counseling center director reflects on the implications for university counseling and psychological service centers. Among other things, issues related to high‐risk students, the developmental barriers to help‐seeking behavior, the increasing utilization of psychotropic medications, and the broadening mandate of campus mental health providers are addressed.
