Iatrogenic coronary artery dissection extending into the aorta is a rare condition. We report a case in a 46‐year‐old male patient who had dissection of the right coronary artery which occured during diagnostic coronary catheterization. The dissection extended retrogadly to affect the right coronary sinus. The patient was treated successfully by coronary artery bypass grafting with repair of the aortic dissection.
