Conduit failure is a common late complication of use of allogra0t conduits. Pericardial membrane valve conduits were used as an alternative to homografts for reconstruction of the right ventricular outflow tract (RVOT). A novel and expeditious technique of conduit reconstruction using autogenous and vascularized pericardium is described. The advantage of this technique is the ease of its construction and potential for growth of the conduit since intact and vascularized pericardium is used for reconstruction.
