We present the case of a 65‐year‐old man who was diagnosed with late mitral stenosis caused by pannus formationafter Duran ring annuloplasty due to ischemicmitral regurgitation. Threedimensional echocardiography providedsignifi cant information regarding the anatomy of the valve and the estimation of the severity of mitral stenosis.
