We report a very rare case of giant left atrial thrombus (size: 7.2 × 4.5 mm 2 ) associated with radiofrequency catheter ablation for atrial tachycardia in a 72‐year‐old man. After 4 weeks of anticoagulation with warfarin, a repeat echocardiogram demonstrated partial resolution of the thrombus (size: 4.5 × 2.6 mm 2 ) without systemic embolization.
