A cardiac pacemaker implantation program involves substantial resources of money, facilities, and manpower. This paper presents a model for forecasting future numbers of implants, thus enabling the more effi‐cient use of such resources. The model embraces both new implants and replacements, both shortterm and long‐term planning, and can be used with relevant data from any source. (PACE, Vol. 5, July‐August, 1982)
