Author's summary. There is no academic subject in which all kinds of audio‐visual aids are so essential for the achievement of both linguistic and cultural objectives as in the field of foreign languages. Use of such material should be carefully planned and utilized as an integral part of the course; the use of audio‐visual aids does not interrupt the learning; it is a vital part of the learning process.
