Venous thrombosis is considered as a multicausal disease. Hyperhomocysteinemia is considered as one of the risk factors for venous thrombosis [1]. Because homocysteine levels are strongly influenced by the intake and concentrations of B vitamins, it is worthwhile to assess the role of these vitamins as a risk factor for venous thrombosis.
