Lack of reactivity of IgG autoantibodies with Rh null red blood cells does not necessarily imply specificity directed towards the Rh system. Recent reports have indicated that occasionally the autoantibodies of warm antibody type hemolytic anemia may have U‐specificity. This report describes an example of auto‐anti‐U occurring in a patient with myasthenia gravis who had no evidence of hemolysis.
