An MN patient is described whose serum contains a naturally occurring anti‐M antibody. The antibody showed marked dosage effect and reacted most strongly at 4 C and at room temperature. Chromosomal analysis failed to reveal changes in either chromosomes number 2 or number 4 which had previously been implicated as possible locus for genes determining MN antigens.
