An autoimmune hemolytic anemia occurring in a 60‐year‐old woman is described. The patient's blocd group is A, Rh‐negative ( cde/cde ). Her serum was found to contain high titer anti‐D and anti‐C, which may have arisen as a result of isoimmunization by a pregnancy and a blood transfusion 17 years earlier. An eluate from the red cells contained an incomplete warm autoantibody of anti‐f specificity.
