The Inv(a) serum factor was studied in 102 Waica, 112 Paraujano, and 68 Piaroa Indians of Venezuela, and an incidence of 65.7, 58.0, and 94.1 per cent, respectively, was found. It is the first time that this serum group has been studied in Indians from Venezuela. The frequency obtained in the Piaroa Indians is the highest hitherto found in any population.
