A case of generalized leiomyosarcoma in a 60‐year‐old woman is presented. Apparently the lesion originated in the right lung prior to 1967, since the gastrointestinal and genitourinary tracts and the pelvic organs remain normal. The disease recurred five years after the first operation, necessitating further surgical therapy for removal of the variously situated tumors. The pathology report stated: metastatic leiomyosarcoma. Because of the slow growth of the lesions, the prognosis is favorable.
