A bstract : The case of a 71‐year‐old male veteran who had remittent fever (101–103°F) for six weeks is described in detail. The underlying cause for this perplexing symptom remained undiscovered until his death, despite exhaustive investigations. Autopsy revealed a necrotizing primary adenocarcinoma of the right adrenal gland, with metastasis to the right cerebellar hemisphere. Only one other similar case has been described before in the literature.
