A bstract In a series of 462 geriatric patients, 22 had senile tibial nodules. The incidence, clinical appearance and diagnosis are discussed. The nodules are split‐pea sized, palpable but rarely visible lesions found in the tibial fat in older geriatric women. Although the pathogenesis cannot be firmly established, they may be related to underlying progressive vascular disease.
