SUMMARY Twenty‐five analogs of metabolites were tested for their ability to inhibit the growth of Chlamydomonas eugametos, C. moewusii , and C. reinhardii. Eleven of the tested analogs were inhibitory to 1 or more species, but only 3 compounds were inhibitory to all 3.
