Summary: This report describes two patients who developed persistent neurologic deficits during intracranial EEG recording without clear evidence of intracranial edema or infarction. Both patients had previously received high‐dose brain radiation therapy and chemotherapy. Because of this experience, we strongly caution the use of intracranial electrodes in patients with similar profiles.
