Summary: A case of a 32‐year‐old man is reported with complex partial seizures secondary to a right inferior temporal epileptic focus immediately overlying an abnormality of the temporomandibular joint, with a defect in the middle temporal fossa that allowed the mandibular condyle to contuse the temporal lobe. RÉSUMÉ Les auteurs rapportent le cas d'un patient âgé de 32 ans présentant des crises partielles complexes associées à un foyer temporal inférieur droit superposeéà une anomalie de l'articulation temporo‐mandibulaire. lis ont constaté l'existence d'un dÉfect de la fosse temporale moyenne induisant un traumatisme du lobe temporal par le condyle de la mandibule. RESUMEN Se publica un caso de un hombre de 32 años de edad con ataques parciales complejos secundarios a un foco epiléptico temporal inferior del lado derecho, localizado inmediatamente por encima de una anormalidad de la articulacyón tempo‐mandibular, asociada a un defecto de la fosa temporal media que permitia al cóndilo mandibular producir una contuseón sobre el lóbulo temporal.
