SYNOPSIS The medical records of 150 children and adolescents with chronic headaches seen during 1984 and 1985 were reviewed. Sinus pathology diagnosed radiographically was present in 15 patients. None had prominent respiratory symptoms. All improved with appropriate therapy directed toward the sinus pathology. The importance of including sinusitis in the differential diagnosis when seeing children and adolescents with chronic headache is emphasized.
