SYNOPSIS Seven women with early menstrual or premenstrual migraine were given CB154 (Bromocriptine) over 15 menstrual cycles. In 12 menstrual cycles only one migraine attack occurred. Bromocriptine in a dose of 1 mg tid. at 4 day intervals was effective in relieving menstrual migraine and major symptoms of the premenstrual syndrome in these patients. However, the observations are preliminary but they suggest that a controlled trial of the drug in selected patients is justified.
