SYNOPSIS Twenty‐two follow‐up questionnaires were sent to persons who completed a program of biofeedback and relaxation for the relief of headache. Thirteen questionnaires were returned. The follow‐up ranged from six months to three years. Frequency, severity and duration of headaches were assessed before training, at the end of training and at follow‐up. Statistically significant symptom reduction endured although some increase in symptoms occurred in the period between the end of treatment and follow‐up.
