SYNOPSIS The prevalence of migraine and other headaches are assessed in Finnish seven year old school children. Four thousand two hundred thirty‐five children were examined. 37.7% had headaches before starting school. Initially headaches occurred occasionally and were most often associated with febrile episodes. 3.2% of children had migraine.
