Abstract: We studied a case of infantile digital fibromatosis (IDF) transmission electron microscopy. We could not detect either human papillomavirus (HPV) DNA types 6,11,16, and 18, or herpes simplex virus (HSV) DNA types 1 and 2 in IDF. Our results suggest that IDF is not asso‐ciated with HPV and HSV infection.
