Elevated serum levels of triglycerides and cholesterol are common in dialysis patients. It seems a p parent that a population with a shorter llf'e expectancy and a higher risk of drug toxicity should have a diferent threshold for drug intervention than the general population. When should lipid abnormalities in dialysis patients be treated with medication?
