:The potential effects of photographic developers, fixers, replenishers, bleaches, washes, metallic salts, and radioactive emulsions and chemicals on pregnant women and the fetus are reviewed, mainly in terms of animal findings. Those chemicals which are best avoided, or used only with protective hand, eye, and respiratory protection are discussed, and resources for more information are given. (BIR TH10:3, Fall 1983)
