The two Asian species supposedly belonging to the genus or subgenus Triepeolus Robertson, Epeolus tsushimensis Cockerell and Triepeolus ventralis (Meade‐Waldo), are redescribed and illustrated. Epeolus tsushimensis is confirmed to be a member of the genus Epeolus on the basis of the male genitalia and internal sterna.
