Summary:: Pregnancy complicated by the HELLP syndrome and antiphospholipid antibodies has not previously been documented. The patient suffered a significant placental abruption, hepatic, adrenal and cutaneous infarctions, and ongoing adrenal insufficiency. Attention is drawn to the serious clinical potential of this association.
