Summary: We present a case of intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy (ICP) treated with dexamethasone. Rapid elevation in transaminases was observed, beyond levels usually reported in this condition. The world literature is reviewed, with particular reference to a recently suggested treatment protocol using dexamethasone.
